Step 1: I created my background using rectangle tool. i change the color. After created one rectangle, i copy another 3 and changed the colors.

Step 2: I open the images file that i search in Google before and edit these 4 photo with distort-diffuse glow, crop tool..
Step 3: Go to image..adjustment..and choose curve to make the color looks brighter and nicer.

Step 4: I'm using quick selection tool -magic wand tool to crop the picture that i want only.i don't want the picture's background.Later i used Horizontol type tool to create the postcard heading. I used brush tool to make the border.

Website: http://mcg1014-1052400030.blogspot.com/

Project Objective: Using all the techniques and tools that I learned from class and videos and produce a postcard using Photoshop with theme; Malaysia Truly Asia.

Approach:
I searched the material in order to finish up this postcard using google; www.google.com.

How do you create the postcard?
I used adobe Photoshop cs3 .

Using what images?
I used pictures that I’ve searched from Google and save it in my computer

What tools at Photoshop you use to edit the images?
distord, crop, Quick Selection Tool and Magic Wand Tool, spot healing brush tool, rectangle tool, horizontal type tool,

Write here about the idea of your postcard, is it your own Idea or References (if you refer to someone else idea)?

My idea is to show the unique in Malaysia by putting 4 big festive that Malaysian celebrated; eid Mubarak(Hari Raya Aidilfitri), Gong Xi Fa Chai(Chinese New Year, Happy Diwali(Light Festive) & Christmas. Malaysia is a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural and multilingual society. Despite most of the festivals being identified with a particular ethnic or religious group, all Malaysians celebrate the festivities together, regardless of their background.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1-Search materials that related to the topics
2-Consult with Mdm Lydia
3-Edit images
4-Consult and make some changes
5-Add more images

6-Created postcard using Photoshop cs3

7Print out the postcard

Comment:
I learned a lot of new techniques in order to finish up my first assignment. Using Photoshop is fun!
